The ENGINEER DWZ-05 is Screw Extractor bit which fits onto your own 3/8" drive (9.5mm square) socket wrench - it's specifically designed for the quick & easy removal of screws with Hexagon socket (Allen Key) type heads - please refer to photo gallery for the actual screw sizes that can be extracted with the DWZ-05.
- the sharp and fine-pitch spiral tip 'grips' all 6 sides of a hex socket firmly ...without slippage!
- no need to strike with a hammer - just press the extractor bit firmly into the ruined hex screw head & twist it out
- other screw head types such as Phillips, Torx, square socket can be extracted *if* an electric drill is used to drill a pilot hole in the screw head first (please refer to the guide in the photo gallery)
